Hi everyone! I’m Emily - Founder of Seacoast Picnic Co.
Seacoast Picnic Co. is an experience for any occasion. We work with customers to design their dream day whether it’s an anniversary celebration, a birthday, bridal shower, or even an engagement. We want to make your occasion special, take away all stress, and help you create lifelong memories.
When I was younger, my father passed away suddenly and as one would expect, it changed a lot about my upbringing. Although at the time it was very hard to see any positives, there were some that appeared once the pain subsided. Life became even less about materials and much more about spending quality time.
Despite how many times I would ask my mom what I could get her for birthdays or holidays, the answer was always the same: time together. It turned into a tradition of gifts that centered around experiences. One year right before the pandemic started, my mom gifted me a picnic basket.
The basket was beautiful and filled with glassware, plates, and silverware. The only downside was that it was rather cumbersome to carry. There were so many times I wanted to use it, but was dissuaded by my preferred mode of transportation during the summer months (moped) and couldn't ever really figure out how to make it work. My mom asked multiple times if I had used the basket, and every time it felt worse saying no. The last time I said no and explained the logistical reasons, it sparked the idea of Seacoast Picnic Co.
I want to take away all the stress and logistical challenges that come with planning an event, a celebration, or a day with loved ones. My mission is to create lifelong memories for others and help bring about the importance of EXPERIENCES that you can share with people you love.
